It’s frustrating when things don’t go your way. The gap from where you are to where you want to be is just so wide sometimes. It is in those moments where you need to control the emotions and KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
Life is never a series of GIANT LEAPS. It is a series of small incremental steps.
You never tell a child to jump before they can walk, so why would you expect that of yourself.
Keep moving forward.
I know that I am not the only one who feels this way.
Know that you are not alone. I feel this way often. I like everyone else rarely show it. But it doesn’t mean that you don’t feel it.
So I wrote this post for you.
Small steps can be anything. It can be a 1 mm or 100 mm. It doesn’t matter. The key is to keep moving forward.
Always have something to look forward to.
Don’t beat yourself up because you are not where you want to be. You can of course… I don’t want to take that away from you. But I ask you – is that helping? And if not – how long do you want to stay there?
Choose to step forward.
Because you can’t feel sorry for yourself while moving forward doing something productive.
(Side note: Learn the lessons along the way and ADAPT accordingly. Don’t be stubborn enough to just keep moving forward for the sake of moving. If you are heading in the wrong direction – change direction!)
